Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Clodo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Clodo. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Description of Service
Clodo is a mobile application designed to help users manage their digital habits by blocking distracting applications and enabling focus modes. The App uses Apple's Screen Time API to provide app blocking functionality.
Key features include:
- Scheduling app blocking sessions
- Creating custom focus modes
- Tracking usage statistics
- Emergency unlock mechanisms
- Session history and analytics
User Account and Registration
To use Clodo, you must create an account using either Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date
You must be at least 13 years old to use Clodo. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Clodo only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App's security features
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Collect or harvest user information without consent
- Interfere with other users' ability to use the App
Screen Time Permissions
Clodo requires Screen Time permissions to function properly. By granting these permissions, you authorize the App to:
- Monitor which apps are installed on your device
- Block access to specified apps during scheduled focus sessions
- Access aggregated usage statistics (stored locally on your device)
Important: All Screen Time data is managed by Apple and stored locally on your device. Clodo does not have access to the content within blocked apps, your browsing history, or any personal data from other applications.
Subscription and Payments
Clodo offers both free and premium subscription features. Premium features may include:
- Unlimited focus modes
- Advanced scheduling options
- Detailed analytics and insights
- Priority customer support
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and managed through the App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.
Emergency Unlock
Clodo provides an emergency unlock feature that allows you to temporarily bypass app blocks. This feature is designed for genuine emergencies only. Abuse of the emergency unlock feature may result in:
- Additional verification challenges
- Temporary suspension of emergency unlock privileges
- Account review
We reserve the right to modify or restrict emergency unlock functionality to prevent abuse.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Clodo, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the exclusive property of Clodo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:
- Modify, distribute, or create derivative works
- Reproduce or republish any part of the App
- Use the App's branding or trademarks
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLODO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of information
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
Your use of the App is at your sole risk. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or expectations.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLODO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, data, or use
- Loss of business opportunities
- Personal injury or property damage
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clodo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Extended periods of inactivity
- Technical or security concerns
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting support@clodo.app.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date
- Notify you through the App or via email
- Provide a summary of material changes
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App.

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Clodo regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
